FESTIVALS CONNECTED WITH SREE CHAKRAPANI TEMPLE
Every year the month of March and April brings the Festival excitement and unity to the devotees of Sree Chakrapani Temple. The festival ("Ulsavam") starts on "chatayam" day (in meena masam, as per Malayalam calendar). The "kodiyettam" is on chatayam day, festival carries on for 7 days and on the day of "rohini" is "kodiyirakkam".
Besides kodiyettam day 1 festivities include "Thayambaka, panchavadyam, aanapurathu ezhunalluthu and thidambu nritham". Thayambaka, panchavadyam, aanapurathu ezhunalluthu and thidambu nritham will be there on all days.
On day 5 there is a "thirummal kazcha" which comes from "Pulliyanur padickal Bagavathi Temple". The same day is an "Ezunalluthu" from the temple to "the Thiruvambady Temple, Elambachi"
On day 6 is a symbolic festivity named "Pallivetta" and breathtaking fireworks display. On day 7 the festivities for the year end, with "aarattu, kodiyirakkam and aarattu sadhya".

Besides this yearly festival, the "Sapthaaham" occurs in the month of May (in Vaishaka Masam, as per Malayalam calendar).
And every month on the day of "Thiruvonam" there is a special pooja and "vazhipadu", followed by the noble gesture of "Annadanam"
